Today is my blog's first birthday! At least, I think so. I can't remember if I did my first post on the day I created it... oh well. I can't even remember what inspired me to create it- I remember that I made my YouTube account about a month earlier, so maybe that had something to do with it. Oh well, doesn't matter. It's hard to believe it's been an entire year! Well, not really, but I thought its actual birthday was on the 16th, which would've been good so I could make its birthday coincide with the 100th post (this is the 93rd), but yeah. Blah. Here's to another great year of The Nature Of Our Universe! (I'm starting to get tired of that name)
By the way, I should have a new video on my YouTube channel soonish.
this blog is no longer updated. also, you should be warned that it's really bad. seriously, when it was started I was in elementary school. please don't hold anything I said here against me. I'm sensitive :( hahaha just kidding, do whatever the fuck you want

2000 Pageviews
Ok, so this is getting kind of boring now.
I mean, does anyone really care about stats that only I can see? Probably not. And I'm probably the only who likes reading these "milestone posts" (since I'm the one who wrote them), so that sort of goes against my philosophy that if I post stuff, it should interest the readers, and not the writer. So maybe this will be the last milestone post? I don't know. Could be.
EDIT (17/04/2012): Yeah, and if you look back at my older posts, It's kinda ridiculous. Even the thousand one. Maybe I'm just getting too excited over a natural increase. Probably.

NEW Look For Blog
Yeah. But anyway, I've customized something called a "dynamic view" for my blog, and after a bit of fiddling, I've gotten it working the way I want. Go ahead! Try it out! I can wait.
As you can see, there's a sidebar with all of my posts in it. I think this is really cool, and also makes searching a lot easier. And have you looked at the different pages? There's an animation for switching pages. Come on. Do it. You know you want to.
As well, there are these thingies at the side which you can use to see my followers (all one of them; the other one is me), my archive, and something else. I think it's the subscribe thingy madoo.
So yeah. I may tweak this a bit in the future, but I hope to stay with this design for a long time.

New Look For Blog
So I've made the background for this blog a shade of gray, because I thought it would be easier on the eyes, especially at night. What do you think?

ONE THOUSAND VIEWS!
If you haven't guessed by the title, I've reached the huge milestone of 1,000 pageviews. This is pretty cool, because I got my first hundred in october or something. Anyway, it's actually 1020, so since I last checked, I got 24 views, from whatever source. Here's the ultimate screenshot:
Here's a little history lesson:
I started this blog out in June 2011. Back then, I didn't post much. I sort of think of it as the "prologue" to what I do now, while I was getting used to the idea of having a blog. The theme looked a lot like it does now, but with different fonts and a way different background picture. It was a screenshot of Todelmer, an age from Myst 5.
Later, I changed it to a long, panel-like version of my frog profile picture. I think it was around here that the "new" era began. I think it was around my Myst Online: Uru Live again on Mac post that I started to post more. And, in retrospect, I think it's when my views began to skyrocket. After a while, I changed the theme to a rather interesting picture I took of glow sticks while I was listening to Vale Decem. I don't even know why I included that. Oh well. After that came the most recent theme. I'll probably make an updated, better looking version of it as soon as I can get my hands on Photoshop Elements. I wish I could post something incredible and shocking as a goodie or something, but I can't. Thanks to everyone who's seen my blog, and even better checked back, and I'm looking forward to another 1000 in the future!
Oh, and

What?
This is really weird. It's a hierarchal view of which operating systems have viewed this site. What's weird is there are two windowses. What does lowercase windows have to do with anything?

I'm Going To Delete My Blog
I was looking through iTunes' top albums list, and look what I found!
Don't get me wrong, I love his old stuff, but isn't this impressive?
Well, I thought so.
PS: I'm not going to delete my blog. I just couldn't think of a good name for this post.
That's right, "classical music sucks blah" people. My favorite composer hit the top charts. (that's philip glass at no. 27, in case you don't know)
Anyway, that's rather impressive, since one, it's virtually unheard of for classical music to get that high. And two, it's just kind of impressive that he's all big and world renowned and stuff, especially since he started out with stuff like this:

Image/Teaser Thing For Blog
I've recently created a little image to advertise this blog. Well, not advertise, but it's essentially just an image that represents it, or something. Maybe you can use it as a desktop picture. I don't know. It's not as pretty as I'd like it to be, but if I can get my hands on Photoshop, I'll be able to make better stuff. You see, I used to have Photoshop Elements, but since my computer runs OSX Lion, I can't use that particular version (it's a PowerPC application). Anyway, image:
Yeah. It's just a Chromey-wave thing in the side, with the blog's title in the top. I think I might use something like this for the top pane in the future, because the glow sticks never really looked that good anyway. If I get photoshop. EDIT: Well, maybe sooner. I don't know.
Resisting SOPA and PIPA:

Stop SOPA and PIPA!
You may have noticed that my title has changed to "SOPA and PIPA suck!". I am aware that many sites are currently down to protest, but I don't have enough freedom with blogger to do this. I've thought about setting up a server, but that's a few years down the road for me. And most sites are only doing this for a day- whereas I shall have this title up for as long as SOPA and PIPA are still looming, or even pass. Anyway, I have a little video which will explain everything:
Anyway, yes. That's that. Also, to defy the censoring stuff of SOPA and PIPA, I'm taking the path of passive resistance. I'm going to include a link to copyrighted content on my blog in every post until SOPA and PIPA are de-um... anyway. The point is, if entertainment companies didn't want their stuff freely on the internet, THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE DIGITIZED IT. I know there are people who will hold their camera in front of the TV, but really, who watches that? No one. Anyway, here's today's share of copyright infringement:
And, just a side note, I have just found my new favorite poem:
The voice in his head
never stopped for breath,
it spoke of danger,
it warned of death.
It shouted, "Hurry,
pack up and flee!"
And all before his morning pee.
Chuck Lorre is pretty odd, isn't he?

A huge increase in stuff
Remember how I've been starting to talk about how many pageviews I'm getting? Well, it's not just that I'm all proud of myself for getting nearly 500 views* (which I am, by the way), but it's mostly because there's been a huge, huge, huge huge huge, kinda big increase in the amount of views I'm getting. Let me show you what I mean:
In August. Three views. Notice the large increase in the following months.
Now, in January. 3 views. The difference is, that's one day. Today, January first, I have gotten the same number of views I did in the entire month of August.
So, yeah. I just wanted to share that, because I think that's kind of neat. And the Bible is still in production. Although I haven't been working on it as much as I would have liked. But I have a good reason!
I didn't want to.
No, I was busy.
No I wasn't.
Yes I was.
Okay, whatever.
~FIN~
*EDIT: 500? I have no idea what I was talking about. 400 is obviously what I meant.
