is a month long event which is supposed to bring Myst fans back to the cavern (and, with any hope, bring that CAVCON meter up a bit).

It's also known as Cavern Mysterium, so basically, it's like Mysterium... but online. There even a Q&A with Cyan Worlds CEO Rand Miller (and his brother Robyn was supposed to be there, but cancelled; apparently he's busy getting The Immortal Augustus Gladstone on the market). I'm not sure what else is happening, but it sure sounds fun.

Anyway, why am I posting about this, you might be wondering. There have been tons of MO:UL events that I didn't talk about. Well, good sir. You see; I designed the logo for this year. Take a look:

I think it turned out pretty good; I mean, it's not perfect but considering this is my first time doing this sort of thing... yeah. But anyway, there is it. For more info see this thread.

Larissa's Dream Haven

So for a while now, there's been a large monster house going up near where I live. Literally, it actually looks like a monster. I mean, it has these two big windows, then a series of doors-
Anyway. So recently, they put up a gate. Well, fine. More pretentious stuff. Anyway, they put a little piece of wood in it, I would imagine the name of their house, and it reads:
LARISSA'S DREAM HAVEN

Ok, really? Of all the things you could name your house (as if anyone even does that anymore), you chose THAT? Bah!

And really, that's basically an invitation for vandalism and ridicule. I mean, you could wake up one morning, and find this:

I'm actually really tempted to do that, but I wouldn't.

And really, it just seems so out of place, even more so than in an average city. But amongst the countryside, it's just so... stuffish. Here, I'll show you:

Ok, so this is getting kind of boring now.
I mean, does anyone really care about stats that only I can see? Probably not. And I'm probably the only who likes reading these "milestone posts" (since I'm the one who wrote them), so that sort of goes against my philosophy that if I post stuff, it should interest the readers, and not the writer. So maybe this will be the last milestone post? I don't know. Could be.

EDIT (17/04/2012): Yeah, and if you look back at my older posts, It's kinda ridiculous. Even the thousand one. Maybe I'm just getting too excited over a natural increase. Probably.

Uru Extra Music

If you have the soundtrack to Uru, you might be disappointed that it has very little of the full soundtrack in it. This means that there are two obvious ways to get the rest; either play the game, or fish through the resource files. Well, I've done some fishing, and now I've renamed them, put them in an order that makes sense, and put them on my Youtube channel!

Riven Dagger

I ordered a riven dagger replica from a person who... made them, and it arrived today. It looks very nice, actually a lot nicer than in the photo.

NEW Look For Blog

Yeah. But anyway, I've customized something called a "dynamic view" for my blog, and after a bit of fiddling, I've gotten it working the way I want. Go ahead! Try it out! I can wait.

As you can see, there's a sidebar with all of my posts in it. I think this is really cool, and also makes searching a lot easier. And have you looked at the different pages? There's an animation for switching pages. Come on. Do it. You know you want to.
As well, there are these thingies at the side which you can use to see my followers (all one of them; the other one is me), my archive, and something else. I think it's the subscribe thingy madoo.

So yeah. I may tweak this a bit in the future, but I hope to stay with this design for a long time.
